Founder of the International Godsway Church, Daniel Obinim, has announced that he is bringing an end to the public discussions surrounding his marriage after receiving what he described as a warning from the Holy Spirit.

Addressing his congregation, the self-styled pastor said he has obeyed the spiritual directive by deleting all videos, rebuttals and other public responses relating to the matter.

According to Obinim, he decided to let bygones be bygones after reflecting on the emotional impact the controversy had on him and his family.

He admitted regretting the manner in which the issue escalated into the public domain, expressing disappointment in himself for allowing it to attract widespread attention and cause emotional distress.

The preacher also apologised to members of the public and his followers who may have been disappointed by his actions.

His announcement effectively brings to a close the series of public statements and exchanges regarding his marital issues, which had attracted significant attention and generated widespread reactions across social media platforms
